How to install Mediaportal on Windows 2008 R2 (x64 only) (3 Viewers)

with the upgrade to 1.1.1 my floppyDTV was listed and is working however there is no CI menu, like it is not recognizing my alphacrypt =\

no not really..
however..

you might try the following command in a administrative dosbox..

bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING ON

this allows you to install drivers without the need for whql certified crap ..

reboot .. and see what happens if it works ?


turn off with

bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING OFF


p.s. this will show a "testmode enabled watermark" right under in the screen and will go away when you disable it again..

Hmmm what i wonder is why would that be needed, because i didn't do that the last time I installed mp on server 2k8r2 and it worked perfectly

its not... but just trying to help out and see if this easy command fixes your problem temporarly.. if it does we at least know where to look ?

Apparantly i failed big time >.<
I forgot to manually change the config of the floppydtv in tvserver config and set the floppydtv to have a cam module >.<
So now it works.

D'OH!

Can you plese send me the BDA drivers youre using? Maybe thats where the problem is.

The card wokrs find on my windows 7 computer, but not om 2008 r2, and I have absolutely no ide on how to fix it! I just get the message that "Channel is scrambled".

This is my reply in another tread here and it contains a link to my log files.

When I put tv-card with cam back in my windows 7 computer it works fine, but when it is in my server 2008 r2 computer i still get the "channel is scrambled message. Radio do work, but no tv, only free to air channel.

Cam is enabled. I have the exactly same settings in tv-server config on booth computers.

Installing the LEGACY driver seems to be a problem. A driver with LEGACY in its name is not avaliable, so I have choosen the same driver without the "LEGACY" naming.

do you a norwegian version of windows2008 r2 ? or language pack installed ?
