Every time when watching a recording and I fast forward I get annoying alert (bonk!)- how do I turn that sound off! It's bugging the crap out of me and I can't find the switch for it.

Thanks,

To turn of all sound, then go to MP config\general\skin and untick the use sound in GUI.

Individual sounds can be turned off under the keys & sounds tab.

    Thanks for the reply.

Individual sounds can be turned off under the keys & sounds tab.

Are these clearly marked as to what is the "skip forward" and "skip backward" notifications?

There's always the multishortcut plugin (useful for direct to pluns etc) which may do what you need or irserversuite.

I have also had this problem in the past. There are two components to this problem: Your internet router is pinging the HTPC at regular intervals in order to see if the HTPC is still present on the network. Sorry, it's my fault -- I did not notice that you are using MP2. :( MP1 has a separate configuration utility, similar to "TV Server Config". I have tried MP2 only a couple of times, and have never used it seriously. I don't know what MP2 supports with regard to adjusting audio delay, but I do know that all of the adjustments of...

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1
