I installed the files Morp posted, restarted MP2-Server
Added NBC5-HD with an Alias of NBC5 to the web site and Authorized it (Interesting placement in the web site)
Started MP2 client with SlimTv and cannot see the logo
Oh well... might be me..

The Channel NBC5-HD has only one Alias which is NBC5-HD in the list. So if your channel is named NBC5 it can't find a logo.

What I guess I should have on a Provider object would be:

• Name (string - Astra or KabelBW or for US imported Texas Rio Grande Valley)
• Info (string - simply more description)
• Type (string - can be filled later with something like DVB-T, Cable, ...)

these additional fields are fine. can I record these for each alias? which certainly makes it easy to keep things clear.
The preview of the logos in original size would be great.

how does it look now, all repos come in a single or we go our separate ways? have I the opportunity as a Swiss in the German repo a swiss local logo and its name to renew?

You can suggest a new alias for an existing channel. Find your channel, leave logo empty only add your alias.

These fields are on a provider, not alias. You can link an Alias to a Provider.
The end-goal is to have one central repository for all logos.

I did Authorize the new channels
I do not see anywhere that lets me do anything to a channel
