initial support for Hauppuage HD-PVR (3 Viewers)

no channels are showing up.

This may sound like a stupid question, but did you add a channel lineup in Schedules Direct? (More often than not this is the issue.)

yes... and deleted/readded as well. still getting this same problem. any idea what the "autotune in setup" deal is about?

is there some kind of setup in the tv server i need to do with regards to the HDPVR? i.e., with my old set up i'd have to do a channel scan... and it only gives options for antenna or cable input, and the hdpvr isn't really either.

on the plus side, when i go to manual control and do a timeshift/record, at the very least it is showing the channel playing on the STB.

I am not a programmer, but I wonder if this is what the problem is:

Two more dumb questions:
1. Do you have your user name and password correct in the SD plug-in?
2. Are there any channels in your line-up? The channels should show up red when you click edit on the line-up.

Give the plug-in a good 20 minutes or so to download a days worth of schedules for the first time. I am glad you asked this question here because it made me log back into SD and I noticed some new channels that were not enabled.

I've been setting this up for 2 days now - Have HD PVR working with TWC/Cisco 4640HD box and MP TV Server. I have this linked to the XBMC PVR-Testing2 branch build on Windows 7.

Everything is working great apart from two issues

1) Can't get S/PDIF to work - only RCA audio (silence if I choose SP/DIF)
2) Audio is 3 seconds behind Video on Live TV

Has anyone else experienced and fixed these issues?

1. When you say 'choose', are you referring to the Arcsoft software? Have you set the Arsoft software to SPDIF?
2. Which codecs are you using?

When you change it in the Arcsoft software, it should work (Video & Audio.) Is the SPDIF cable plugged into the correct input on the HD-PVR? I would get it working there first, before moving on to the TV Server & XBMC...

AND yes you are correct, XBMC uses its own codecs.

1. yes, user name is correct. it gives specific login errors when it's not correct.
2. no, there's no channels.

I wondered as i was setting mine up the other day - what is the difference between a red icon and a green icon in the channel lineup?

I use mc2xml paired with the xmltv plugin for my epg.

this means a free epg from the same source, but more options. (SD plugin is admittedly easier to setup from scratch, tho.)
