Hello, I am setting up a new client using MediaPortal 1.6.0 final and when I go to install the latest version of Moving Pictures from the MPEI (1.6.2.1556) I get a 'Package Loading Error! Install Aborted!'.

Is there anywhere else where I can download version 1.6.2.1556?
I am planning to re-install MediaPortal this week (with Argus TV) and can't seem to find this Moving Pictures version anywhere.

Normally you should be able to find those on the project page (Google Code for example), but in this case the version you need isn't on there :(
Best to ask the developer if you need that specific version.

Google Code does not allow binary uploads anymore since Jan 2014.

    According to: http://moving-pictures.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Setup/update.xml

    The download should be at:
    https://www.team-mediaportal.com/index.php?option=com_mtree&task=att_download&link_id=30&cf_id=24

But it has an URL encode issue with & vs & so manually get it from: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/index.php?option=com_mtree&task=att_download&link_id=30&cf_id=24

It will automatically get fixed by @ltfearme when the new release is pushed out, as I'm already testing build r1587.

I didn't think those versions worked with MP 1.6?

The big link is still MovPics v1.6 which should be compatible for now...

You can see the other links point to release supporting v1.7.

I fixed the encoding issue, I don't know if that fixes the original issue as that seems to work anyway but maybe fails from MPEI Installer..

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...
