    hey guys,

    i dont know if i just post in the correct thread. maybe this belongs to the 5.01 patch thread. i also have problems with the version for mp 1.02, so i decided to install the 5.1 patch. but after installing it i get a huge error messge on my iphone. i am running mp on windows xp sp 3. can it be the os is not supported 4 the patch?

    edit: sorry just read throught the rest of the thread......looks like there r more users with 1.02 who cant install 5.01 patch.
    any chance this will be fixed? i cant update to mp 1.1 cause my remote wont work with mce replacement tool anymore.....and my whole system depends to mce replacement tool..... :-(

    I've just installed iPimp 5.0 and patched to 5.0.1 running Mediaportal 1.1.0 Final and when I try to play movies I get this error

    Code:
    Cannot import Website.uWiMP.TVServer.MPClient.SmallMovieInfo from a JSON String value.
    at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.Converters.ImporterBase.ThrowNotSupported(JsonTokenClass clazz) at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.Converters.ImporterBase.ImportFromString(ImportContext context, JsonReader reader) at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.Converters.ImporterBase.Import(ImportContext context, JsonReader reader) at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.ImportContext.Import(Type type, JsonReader reader) at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.Converters.ArrayImporter.ImportScalarAsArray(ImportContext context, JsonReader reader) at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.Converters.ArrayImporter.ImportFromString(ImportContext context, JsonReader reader) at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.Converters.ImporterBase.Import(ImportContext context, JsonReader reader) at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.ImportContext.Import(Type type, JsonReader reader) at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.JsonConvert.Import(Type type, JsonReader reader) at Jayrock.Json.Conversion.JsonConvert.Import(Type type, String text) at Website.MovingPicturesList.DisplayMyVideosList(String wa, String friendly, String filter, String value, Int32 start, Int32 pagesize) in D:\Dev\vs2008\MediaPortal Universal Web Interface\Website\iPhone\MPClient\MovingPicturesList.aspx.vb:line 106 at Website.MovingPicturesList.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in D:\Dev\vs2008\MediaPortal Universal Web Interface\Website\iPhone\MPClient\MovingPicturesList.aspx.vb:line 80 at System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint)

    Also for Music when trying to browse Genres I get

    Code:
    Unable to cast object of type 'System.String' to type 'Jayrock.Json.JsonObject'.
    at Website.MyMusicListDecades.DisplayMyMusicDecades(String wa, String friendly) in D:\Dev\vs2008\MediaPortal Universal Web Interface\Website\iPhone\MPClient\MyMusicListDecades.aspx.vb:line 86 at Website.MyMusicListDecades.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in D:\Dev\vs2008\MediaPortal Universal Web Interface\Website\iPhone\MPClient\MyMusicListDecades.aspx.vb:line 66 at System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint)

    I have forwarded Port 55667 on my Router after reading some other threads...

    I've attached all the log files as described in the Troubleshooting section of the Wikks.i

    Thanks

    dietbutcher - your logs show neither of the fubars you report, can you recreate the errors and post your mediaportal error log.

    Also you shouldn't need to open port 55667 on your router, this is the port used to communicate between the iPiMP web application and the MP client process plugin.
