Hi - firstly; this looks like an AWESOME app :)

I'm trying to run it up on my MP1.1RC5 on Windows Server 2008 R2 (I know - not a supported OS - but it's running really nicely for me and I'm hoping I can get iPimp working to make it complete!)

Anyway I've installed iPimp - I used standard install and it seemed to install ok (I got an error because I was already using port 80 - which I fixed in the conf file - and it said I had to configure the TV server plugin seperately - which I've done). I can login just fine but...

When I first installed - when I tried to view the TV EPG I got: The column notify in table Program does not exist - so I followed the advice below from an earlier post:

Try copying the following files from C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server to C:\Program Files\iPiMP\Aspx\bin
    DirectShowLib.dll
    TvBusinessLayer.dll
    TvControl.dll
    TVDatabase.dll
    TvLibrary.Interfaces.dll

After doing that (and restarting services - and rebooting) I now get the following error when I click on TV Guide:

Could not load file or assembly 'Gentle.Framework, Version=1.5.0.29111, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=80b5de62e27be49b' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

Any chance anyone can point me in the right direction?? I've attached logs :)

hi, again nice work. updated yesterday my software to 1.1 rc5 and I also installed ipimp 5+patch. works great so far. now I am also able to watch tv in my bed :D

just these 30sec waiting time is a little bit annoying. It would be also nice If it could stream to a lower quality so it's also possible to watch with 3G! Could need that for some football matches. Mobile TV App from T-Mobile is not working annymore since iOS4 :(

P.S: I just found the app "Air Video". It seems that it is cabaple of streaming live tv and movies to the iphone. It's also possible with 3gs. I just downloaded it. I'll give it a shot when I'm back at home!
Maybe this is another solution that could be implemented in your software :)

hi when I add a shortcut on my home screen and want to open it, the browser starts and closes again. If I try that with google it works.
I have this behaviour since iOS4.

Is there any progress / actual status for live streaming?

I meant the not very stable part :) I'm not able to watch longer than minutes via my iphone :) Also very often the stream doesn't stop on the tvserver side :)

Ok clear :) My conclusion also. Same problems here. Very often i have to stop the stream within the server status page. And cannot start a new stream then. Starts every time with the old channel then.

You guys sure that behaviour is an issue with iPimp?

Cause I have never seen that happening. Sure, the stream gets interrupted occasianally, but I am always able to resume. Also, I have always been able to stop the stream successfully from the streaming status page.

I am still running MP 1.0.2 mind you, perhaps that could be an important factor in this.
