Countdown is not visible. That's ok. But where are the browser buttons? i can only see play and stop. Are the browser buttons new in the patch?

In firefox it seems the countdown window doesn't work, but if you wait 30secs the screen with play, stop, browser buttons appears, clicking the browser button then launches the stream in another firefox window.

@cheezey: Very happy with this plugin for a long time now, live tv streaming is awesome. WIFI works great but on 3G the iPhone cannot keep a steady stream. Maybe quality can be lowered for better throughput?
Can you also implement a flash page instead of silverlight? Silverlight video is not working in a portable version of Firefox and Chrome. Or is there an other solution possible?

You can edit the bitrates yourself, have a look in C:\Profram Files\iPiMP|Aspx\config.xml, you'd have to edit the video & audio bitrates and also the name of the stream passed to the smooth streaming module.

This initial version just does one video stream @ 256k and one audio stream @ 64k. This will be developed in the future such that additional video streams are available giving proper adaptive capabilities.

I'll look at a flash page.

Are you using the correct verison of iPiMP for your TV Server?

Try copying the following files from C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server to C:\Program Files\iPiMP\Aspx\bin

• DirectShowLib.dll
• TvBusinessLayer.dll
• TvControl.dll
• TVDatabase.dll
• TvLibrary.Interfaces.dll

Streaming at el works now

Though when it was uninstalling the other ipimp it came uo with the error

iPimpConfigureplugin has stopped working

and then a bit later

plugin config removal failed

Now when I'm in tv config when ever I navigate away from the plugin config page it throws up

Invalid utilites Path, retry


Getting there I suppose - no doubt something I've done judging by the way things are going

Is it only me who has problem with this?

After been locking on an live tv stream, i go back to "Home" and try to look at the "TV Guide" the it says that there is no "channel groups found"
Also if i try to look at the "TV Server Status" and then the "TV Card Status" i get this:

From this point the only soloution to watch live tv again is to restart the whole PC (restart TV service and IpiMpWeb doesnt do the trick).

Sometimes though, I am able to recover if i disable the ipimp plugin and re-enable but its very annoying

OK - I got this today and had a look at the Apache error.log, it looks like there was a TV stream error which stopped the transcode process. I'll look and see what can be done about it. Restarting the iPiMPweb service should resolve it though.

Is there a command to restart the iPiMPweb service? I haven't encountered the problem. But just in case...

Can't get Android to work... It supports MP4 + AAC, but it doesn't play a MPEG-TransponderStream... I might contact code-shop (or whatever that name was) for a solution... but did someone else made any progress?

Android CAN work, you can play a movie that's becoming larger (the file, which you append the mp4splits to)... Maybe someone has an idea to get it working?! http://t.denhaas.info/movie.avi is an example of a merge of 5 files (it will play in WM11 (if you have the right codecs) and in VideoLan). Maybe the Apache output will work on Android devices, I really hope so!

But if someone has any idea to get it working, please let me know and I'll try! (I've already created a videoplayer which will append the files and try to play it, but since it doesn't support MPEG-TS )

Potentially great app

I can't get it to work on my non iPhone - WinMo 6.5. Damn i(whatever's).

With the patch no probs on PC using chrome. But I would really like to be able able to watch on my WinMo.

Opera works up until you want to watch live TV. IE obviously doesn't work because of the webkit stuff. I have not been able to figure out how to install silverlight for Opera 10 yet or even if it is even possible.

When you try to watch on Opera you get the text that people have reported previously.
