if i install on Clients with Option 4, i get an Error like "URL reservation failed" and Installation is aborting. Any Ideas?

The install doesn't abort - it has just finished. The URL reservation is the last thing it does.

On WHS (and I guess it's the same for 2003) I got the error that XP Support tools are not supported. So I extracted the installer with 7zip (or WinRar) and also extracted the file support.cab. Then I executed the httpcfg.exe command from the path where I put the extracted support.cab. That seemed to work, I got "HttpSetServiceConfiguration completed with 0."

And today my ADSL2+ won't sync above 730k upstream, which isn't quite enough :-(

Time to start tweaking the bandwidth...

I'm guessing that I'm either doing something wrong, or missing a step. I thought I had changed the bitrate and resolution as per the attached, but I'm still only getting ~7 seconds using the iPhone.


I also think I have found a small bug, if it changes to audio only, the stream appears to only be stopped by an Admin user, although it shows as stopped with a record and view user, the stream continues.

I've also got two feature request. The first is to be able to edit users, and the second is could there be a stream only user "permission".

edit: Just tested with the flash player in Chrome, and it seems to play for much longer, occasionally pausing, but not reverting to audio only. Also just run a quick test downloading over the link using HTTP, and I'm getting ~600kbps of transfer, which I would have thought should be enough for 256k + 64k, unless I've missed something (which is very possible...)

I thought this DID do TV, (StartChannel). Oh well, back to the drawing board.

It looks like I may have to write my own script interface (just using simple XML strings) after all then. Never mind.

TOday i called my ADSL provider, now the speed test show me a .66Mbits in upload, now i can see only for few seconds (10-15) and after i hear only a audio stream with black screen with quicktime logo.
So the new apache mod and other changes causes this problem.
Why you don't wonna to investigate?
i can supply the log.

Still no luck with now playing when client is playing radio. Now I get the following fubar:

@mardup - can you read the troubleshooting section of the wiki and post some logs

@mtjoernelund - I can recreate this radio now playing bug - and will fix it after dinner

webcris77 - It's not that I don't want to investigate. If the issue is with the SmoothStreaming module or FFMpeg then there's nothing I can do as I am not the author of those. In any case can you read the troubleshooting section of the wiki and post some logs - not sure they will show anything untoward especially as you can stream via wifi OK.

JDWestoby - the code is there because I've briefly tried this out in the past only to find it was more complicated expected, I left the code there as I will return to it, it's just dormant at the mo as the iPiMP app does not call it.

thermionic - I'll look at the permissions request, although I think the watcher role is really the streamer role now. As for edit user - I figured since there wasn't much to a user that you could just delete & create. What iOS version are you running? Does your iPhone video stream drop on wifi or 3G?

No hurrie Cheezey, but thanks already. This is fast becominig one of the greatest parts of MP - even my wife started showing interest now that I have shown her that she can stream both tv, movies and tv-series to her iPhone everywhere...
