IR Server Suite - Public Test Version (1 Viewer)

Well I've officially switched over from 7-19 version.
I had to set the delay between blasts to 1000ms to get my receiver to switch reliably.
and-81: I tried using the dish-301 preset codes (Which I thought you took from me) but they don't work. I changed them with my own (pronto) and they work great. Can I send you this set to either switch or make a new set from in future versions?
Also, Tray Launcher works fine, but the system try icon also shows it's connecting (block square). I've completely disabled the firewall (Windows) but it makes no difference???
One more suggestion. I have 2 tuners. Can you make the TV3 setup just chose a port per card, instead of changing the port on every digit? It would just be a little more user friendly.

IR Server Suite icon has disappeared from notification area forever after I ticked IRTrans (experimental) plug-in. I have tried to reinstall it but nothing helps. It still running, I see it in task manager. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the heads-up ... I'll fix that right away.
1. Yes, please resend the dish 301 codes, I think I had a couple of versions of them and the one I ended up using was obviously wrong.
2. I'll look into what's going on in Tray Launcher and try to fix it.
3. I'll look at putting a blaster port selection box on the STB setup area to do what you're talking about there.

That usually means that the IRTrans plugin has failed to start correctly... I'll reinstall IRTrans here and see what I can do. It might be a few days before I get it 100%... Thanks for the feedback, I don't think anyone else is using the IRTrans.

After short playing with Debug Client the IR Server Suite icon has come back to notification area. Btw it disappears when I tick IRMan plugin, not IRTrans as I mentioned before, sorry.
Another issue. If in any reason Translator starts before IR Server Suite or IR Server Suite stops working whilst Translator still running and Learn button is pressed then Translator stops learning signals. To solve this problem application must be reinstalled. There could be a Master Reset function somewhere...
Also Translator does not recognize all Pioneer Plasma TV remote IR signals, Girder did [WinXP]. Mostly it shows code 21930 for any button pressed.

Well, I am sure that like me there is other people that use the IRTrans ( the receiver is built in the case and it is supported in the standard "Remote" tab of the MP Setup), so it will be nice to be full supported by your plugin
I have tried and learn some signals but the only remote that works is the virtual one. Teh log shows the following error: Failed to start receive plugin: "IRTrans (Experimental)"

Oh ok, I'll see what I can do with the IRMan plugin, hopefully it's something simple and I can get an update out shortly.
I'm making changes to the IR learn functions at the moment. This has happened because the learn process is started but isn't aborted correctly when the server is down. I've fixed this on my local copy so the next test version should be right.
This is probably a bug in the IR Protocol decoding for that particular protocol. You don't know what protocol the Pioneer plasma remote uses???
I'll go over the code and try to sort this out for you.

Sorry GBA, I meant that I don't think anyone is using IRTrans with IR Server Suite because I've not had any feedback about IRTrans until now.
I'll try to get it working here (though I don't have an IRTrans device). Hopefully I'll have this fixed in the next test version, so keep an eye on the changelog when I update it.

I have find the problem with your plugin and IRTrans
If the IRTrans server is runnig and I try to start your server it doesn't.
If I close the IRTrans server and then I start your server it runs but the result is the error of my previous post
If I close the IRTrans server , start your server, and then start IRTrans server,both servers work, and your plugin is able to learn comands.

When I have MP on the second display, not in focus, most keys of my MCE remote worke fine, except the up/down/left/right/ok. The up/down/left/right/ok buttons then operate both MP and what ever icons I have on display 1. So when I push "ok" on the remote it will execute the MP action and it will open whichever icon was selected on my 1st display. This happens with the standard MCE remote drivers, your replacement driver and with the IR suite. Is there a way to configure the remote driver to have the up/down/left/right/ok buttons only work in MP and not to be active on the main display/other programs at the same time.

Now I could not wait any longer... Your IR Suite looks sooo good. Thought I should be cool and wait until TV3 and IR Suite is stable, but the temptation is too is large for me, so now (still on TV2) I decided to give up HIP (that has served me very well I have to say) and go for the IR Suite.
Well, right at the entrance I failed, probably a newbie problem, but anyway...
while the IR-Server seems to install and run nice, the translator and virtual remote does stop with a communication error at first use.
Suspect some kind of interference so I checked if the server were part of the system services list and it is not?
Have open a port 24000, have exited HIP, checked task mgr that the irserver dll is running....now I do not know how to proceed. Btw, at this point I have not yet started MP...
Would appreciate a hint here (logs attached).
