Is MP-TV Series 3.3.1.1954 compatible with 1.3.0.0 Alpha? (1 Viewer)

When I try to import my series, the importer seems to hang. Anyone else having this problem?

And yes, TV Series is compatible with 1.3Alpha.

Yes log, I need to get those to you. In the past I got you TV logs, but when I did that I ran in debug mode so the plugins won't work. You must be referring to My TV series logs. Where could I find these?

Another way is to open MediaPortal Config, then click on 'General' and set the 'Log verbosity' to 'Debug'.
Then enter the TV Series plugin and try to import your series again. When it hangs, go to the following directory:
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\log

That's were (on Win 7 system) the logs are stored, and copy the 'MP-TVSeries.txt' file and attach it to this thread.

So I have this plugin working perfectly in 1.3a with two minor exceptions.

1. When I finish watching a recording I hit 0 to bring up the delete menu' but then it won't accept the number 1 from the remote to Delete from disk.

2. When I start watching a recording there are about 5 seconds of audio with no video. I have tried multiple codec to resolve this, but no luck.

Neither of these are major, just slight notices.

An easy way to find them is Start Menu -> All Programs -> Team MediaPortal -> MediaPortal -> "User Files" shortcut and then locate the "log" folder.

This works on XP/Vista/Win7/Win8/etc

That's probably the bug with the GUIDialogMenu, which is in scheduled to be fixed in 1.3Beta

Could be a lot of things, without logs it's just speculating.

But... if you need support on that, please open a new thread and post logs, since Steve opened this topic for another issue.

So a funny thing happened when I went to run the import function from My-TV Series....It ran without a fuss and ended. The first time it has ever done that. So I emptied my database and started again. This time it hangs (I included a picture of what it looks like hung). The Log file is also attached, but I'm not sure if it will have the problem in it since myTV series is still opened. Let me know if I need to kill myTVseries then repost the logs.

Oh BTW, HomeY, that was really cool of you to help out the person who jumped into a thread. Very professional and cool. Some boards (cough cough, utorrent, cough) would have been totally mean and would have provided poor help. I commend you on your help. Thank you.

nzdreamer55, you should remove your tvdb accountid from configuration or enter the correct id. You have entered your username which is incorrect, it should be a alphanumeric code which you can find online in your account details. You can also leave it blank if you dont care about user ratings/favourites being synced with thetvdb.com.
