I tried to add URL to ASX streams but it didn't work. I also tried to add the URL in the ASX file to OnlineVideos without luck. Is it supposed to handle ASX files?
Thank you!

In general it should work but depends on what is linked inside the asx file.
Download the asx with wget for example and open with a text editor to find the actual stream url.

Hi offbyone, thank you! It works if I add the URL inside the asx file as stream URL, but I'm not sure if it's the right way to do it. I have around 40 asx files locally, is there any way to add those local files directly to onlinevideos?

Unless you write your own site, OV cannot use local files. The generic site needs an url.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

I was just tinkering with a few settings in the MediaPortal configuration and am happy to have found the cause of the problem. Disabling the option "Single seat setup: force RTSP usage" under "TV/Radio", "Advanced Options" resolved the issue. After I disabled this option, I was able to delete the recordings the first time...

I have a stream link for IPTV that is a .mpd. I can play the link in VLC and MPC-BE, but when I search for it in the TV servers it can not find it. The stream is HEVC with AAC audio. Does mediaportal not support .mpd streams?
