That sounds like different hardware, which can be less sensitive for the signal quality / strength

    I tune these channels on Astra19.2°E using Floppydtv-s / firedtv-s2.

No issues in multiseat nor singleseat.

Also what you mean by "stuttering" is not that clear.
    • Does the video and maybe audio freeze?
    • Do you see artefacts?
    • Maybe the refreshrate of your Tv does not match the FPS of the TVChannel?
    • Maybe the deinterlacing of these channels fails and therefor you have no smooth playback?
    • Maybe its a codec issues? - your hardwarespec is INCOMPLETE!

[*]Does the video and maybe audio freeze?
    No
    [*]Do you see artefacts?
There are artefacts every ca. 10Sek and Audio hangs a short time.

[*]Maybe the refreshrate of your Tv does not match the FPS of the TVChannel?
See my previous Post. I tested it with the original Software WinTV. There it's OK. So this shouldn't be the reason.

[*]Maybe the deinterlacing of these channels fails and therefor you have no smooth playback?
I don't know what this mean.

    [*]Maybe its a codec issues?
I tested serveral Codecs. The original from MP and from SAF4. The acutally Codec for the LOG you see in 'graph_MediaPortal PID (17FC) IFilterGraph = 68C7948.jpg' Video= CyberLink Video Decoder(PDVD9) Audio=ffshow Audio Decoder

AW: LifeTV is stuttering on some Channels

Since RC2 I have the same issues on Pro7-Sat1-Group (since the fix of Mantis #2239)

I thought that it's a signal-quality problem, but the measurements are perfect!

Refreshrate of TV matches the FPS of the channels, and this group is not interlaced!

With original Software of Mystique and Terratec all works, without suttering of sound and artefacts!

But I think the problem is only on DVB-C, because here there was no issue with this stuttering of Pro7/Sat1 before RC2!

Re: AW: LifeTV is stuttering on some Channels

Refreshrate of TV matches the FPS of the channels, and this group is not interlaced!
    Their DVB-S broadcast is MPEG-2 – 720×576i – Bitrate: ~4,5 Mbit/s.
So the video is interlaced not progressive.

But I think the problem is only on DVB-C, because here there was no issue with this stuttering of Pro7/Sat1 before RC2!
The OP uses dvb-s, just like I do.
And I can not confirm any stuttering in RC1, RC2 nor RC3 so far.

    Question for all of you:
    1. Record a show on a channel which gives you stuttering
    2. play this ts file in VLC
    3. does it stutter?

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

It's getting weirder..... If I remove all the IP cards in the TVServer setup and then add them back I can scan the M3u and tune the stations but if I rescan it on the same card it just keeps updating the 1 channel. My brain is melting.........

First thing to say is that I use MP1, whereas I believe that you use MP2. @ge2301 has just posted that MP2 has a "folder view" in addition to the "library view", so you should be able to set up your system as I describe below, but the details will differ. In MP1, the folders that are to appear on the "Videos" panel are defined in "MP...

According to Wikipedia, Windows only uses code pages other than UTF-8 to support legacy (mostly 32 bit) applications and supports two code pages in addition to UTF-8 (OEM and ANSI). According to Microsoft, UTF-8 has been the preferred character set since 2019. If TV Server (or its import routine) were using UTF-8, then umlauts...
