Snoopy87 - I'll have a think about if it's possible to make TsReader more aggressive about keeping it's internal buffers full. It basically does this anyway, but it's driven by the attached decoder filters accepting input samples - if this gets stalled then file reading etc. will stop as well. This is normal source splitter filter practice (and I think I've experimented with it before, and had problems) but it's probably worth another try.

Attached is an *experimental* TsReader.ax which is more aggressive about reading data from local disks and via UNC paths (SMB).

Please give it a try and report back :)

Attached latest logs. We are watching KiKa HD with glitches every few seconds/minutes. So i thought lets upload some logs.

Should i test you experimental tsreader, too?

You seem to be getting a lot of (probably) dropped RTSP packets - creating the continuity errors, far more than I get on my test system with both server and client connected using WiFi (and this is with a cheap router and USB WiFi dongle at the server). I would expect a full wired Gb Ethernet network to be rock-solid with almost zero UDP (RTSP) packet loss.

Attached logs with 1 hour live tv without any issues. Sure i will do some more tests.

Never faced Network issues jet, what doesnt mean there is none. My house was build about 1 year ago, so i d expect the
cables to be ok. ( Cat 6 ) Is there a tool you would recommend to check the Network? I could use a long crossed cable
to get a direct client cerver connection for a short test i think.

Could try other nics. Got 2 Intel pcie nics, did not use them since my Intel Mainboards come with an Intel nic.

Might be worth a try - if only to check out the router/switch performance

I ran live TV via RTSP (over WiFi) tonight for over 2 hours and got about 50 'Video Continuity errors' in the log (plus some audio errors). Some of those were server TV reception errors, and this was with an email client checking for mail every 5 minutes and a nearby microwave oven running for some of the time (which I know interferes with WiFi reception). So overall, in difficult circumstances, it did pretty well - not good enough for serious use (for me anyway) but about as good as I would expect using WiFi - and it's a better test environment for TsReader error handling than a 'reliable' network :)
