[WiP] madVR support in MP1 (9 Viewers)

Before I forget, (im rally busy at work) but yesterday tested shortly the V203 and although not very stable version to me on video side, I found something really interesting on 3D MVC videos.
This version has the oposit behaviour regarding mouse movement and 3D. That time, Video is displayed in 3d but if I move mouse, during mouse movement it goes 2D. For 3D activation still mouse move is needed, but now is oposit.

During mouse movement image 3D on mouse disappear, image 2D.... So need to move continuously to have 3D image!

The install of the RX 460 has not changed my problem of the refresh rate not being reset (from 23hz to 50hz) after playing 3D. Help, I've run out of ideas on this one..

I checked that on my side: Starting 3D movie madvr stats show 23.9 fps. Stopping the movie, showing stats of mp (strg + 1) 50 fps (1920 x 1080, funny thing because LG TV reports 4k and it looks like 4k in vnc, and man for sure this is 4k, because also windows reports that ).

I post you my settings, maybe this brings you one step forward. Primary look at 3D settings in windows and madvr. Beware the new AMD drivers, I think the drivers brought me my audio standby bug. All parts of settings not on screenshots should be Standard

Madvr Display Modes: 2160p50, 2160p60, 2160p23, 2160p24, 2160p30, 1080p60, 1080p50, 1080p23, 1080p24, 1080p30, 1080i25, 1080i29, 1080i30

I also post you the mediaportal drr settings, but i think its not active in madvr mode.

Regarding deinterlacing, try and disable "Pull Down Detection" in Catalyst settings.

Sadly the settings are not present in the new crimson drivers or I'm blind. See also https://community.amd.com/thread/191799

See screenshot mp_interlaced_1080i for testcontent 1080i with 29fps. I think i know where the problem comes from: Madvr plays this as 4k and dont switch to 1080i, but AMD has no modes with 4k interlaced. So it tries the best it can and do 4k @ 60 fps.

To explain that see second screenshot 1080p_content_with_madvr, also 1080p23 content is not switched to 1080p23, but to 2160p23. And thats the problem. Madvr dont switch resolution, it switch only the display rate. One exception is 3D content, but i think this is handled by windows not by madvr.

Settings 1080i25, 1080i29, 1080i30, 1080i25, 1080i29, 1080i30, 2160p50, 2160p60, 2160p23, 2160p24, 2160p30 dont bring any change.

Setting standard resolution to 1080p dont solve the interlace problem, so it plays with 1080p60 and 4k is now downscaled by madvr. But i dont have interlaced content, it is just demo movies, so dont makes me mad . Maybe also driver related.

Set windows resolution to 1080i29, disabled ddr, set evr and disabled madvr. Strg +1 reports 60fps, which after some investigation should be correct http://eyefish.tv/production-guide/...me-size-frame-rates-progressive-or-interlaced but the demo movie just dont works as aspected. So just forgot this for this thread. I think the only point is, that madvr dont switch resolution.

Interlaced output is not actually better when you're dealing with PC output. Your best bet is 60 or 50 (or 23/4 for films) progressive always.

The reason is that the PC will always deinterlace the content, so outputting interlaced only forces a reinterlacing of the content post scaling.

Yep, on my DVBT channel, all are identified as 1080i25, but if i set my screen to this framerate, i lost all the interlaced frame from video ... so drop the interlaced mode.

Inside (remove thread.sleep) and renderblack for TV, to see what give you as result for you guys

On my own branch, i have removed the blackscreen render (happen between channel), i will surely revert this to original master later (or not) because there is change on TsReader that is surely not needed after all, i haven't take my decision yet lol.

Still @joecrow i have no clue why V204 didn't work because the change done shouldn't impact what you describe. It should only change the OSD message happen at bottom when zapping
