One of you should post it as an issue with a detailed description, exact steps to reproduce, screenshot and system details (Operating system / Mediaportal & SVN version / Maya version / Perhaps even what codecs you are using). Then the other can post a reply with same details. Link to maya issue tracker. Also mention if you have this problem in any other skins.

uahhh, tastes are so different. I personally prefer a clear and simple skin with no bling bling.
Meseems the Maya skinners are both good skinners and designers. perfect match.

I think that the blue background on the menu along with the logo in the left corner is way too much. Especially keeping static objects like the logo anything else than a transparent watermark is bad for us plasma owners. Nice adaption with the blue box though, very Mayan:

My main hope for Maya is that a 'fanart' version is never 'officially' produced.
So many other skins use fanart as a crutch for style, Maya achieves it's fantastic design by a great combination of simplicity, good layout and clear-thought. It seems to me that this is the whole point of Maya.
Sometimes in design work it is what you leave out that is more important than what you put in. Just because something can be done doesn't mean it has to be!
