MCE reciever (1 Viewer)

hey all

i have managed to aquire a MCE remote, but have no reciever. what is the best/cheapest way to get a reciever? i have a couple of IRDAs but im not sure they work with the remote

Perhaps somebody knows wheater the Hauppauge reciver works with the MCE remote....

They are sold as a bundle, you could probably use it with a USBUIRT though.

its annoying the reciever is only sold in a pair, it would probaly be best to just buy the control and reciever package... two remotes cant hurt!

is the MCE remote and reciever easy to set up with mediaportal? and does it have a decent range?

It's as simple as plugging it in, installing the rollup package
