I didn't follow MP2 development process so please excuse me for stupid question.
But why does MP2 TVServer a.k.a. TVE3.5 require win7 too? I thought MP2 is win7+ because of skin engine and tvserver has no skin as I remember.

It's not only the skin engine. It's also the fact that there are not many devs using XP or vista anymore so we can not guarantee that everything is working as expected. Of course everybody is free to fork it and make working with these operation system but we will only officially support Windows 7 and up.

When I rebooted this morning, the same problem came back. But I did find my error, it turned out I had accidently clicked on "Filtering: On startup filter by: Unwatched Movies" in "Moving Pictures Configuration". Don't know how I did that. (n)

Looks like there's some kind of error regarding translations that I can't pinpoint about Subcentral. You'll find it in the log file I attached to my previous message. I don't understand it because I use MP in english, I search for subtitles in english and not in my native language, so I can't figure out what's translation got to do...

yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).
