I am new to MediaPortal. I had the TV function up and running for a day or two, but now MediaPortal freezes when I turn on the TV function. I really don't think I changed any settings. Attached are the logs.

    Hello and welcome! :)

When you say MediaPortal is freezing...
What is happening behind the scenes is that MediaPortal is trying (and failing!) to use each of your 6 tuners to tune the channel you requested. With your current configuration, each tuner takes approximately 25 seconds to try. 25 seconds multiplied by 6 tuners gives 2 minutes 30 seconds, which is a long time... so no wonder you think MediaPortal is freezing.

From the log files, it looks like MediaPortal's TV Server is not receiving a stream from the tuner for the channel you tried (NFL Network HD). Immediately prior to NFL HD I can see you tried WTTG, which appears to have worked fine. A couple of days earlier I can see you were able to tune NFL Network HD with no problems.
...so this is a bit strange.

Do you only have problems with certain channels?

    Regards,
    mm

Thank you for the quick response! I tried my system again this morning and all is working normally.

    Thanks for the feedback. :)
I'm glad the problem is gone, but do please let us know if it comes back. Intermittent problems are the worst, and I'd love to be able to figure out what was going on.

    Regards,
    mm

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

Apologies Pablik. My bad. I neglected to run WMI Manager and check Properties as you advised. Sure enough, it produced this error: I tried to run winmgmt /resetrepository, but there were conflicts with running services. So I stopped those services (Malwarebytes & IP Helper), then stopped the winmgmt service. I was then able to run...

It is present, but not with that name. It is called Scheduler, viz: Interesting. I had never noticed that when the "command" is "ACTION", the "cmdproperty" is the actual window id, but it makes sense that it is. Try this for yourself. First backup your working profile for the remote, then in the "Mapping" panel make a change to...

Now with Version 1.37 x64 MP is near to perfect with repect to speed, robustness and funtionality. There is just one point where I have an Idea for further improvement. As I am not too interested in advetisments, I am using comskip to mark times of ads, which is normally working, as it should but produces an error when trying to...
