MediaStream skin for MP (2 Viewers)

Yeah it would be nice if you could release your work so somebody can finish it.

Actually I tried XMBC last night with the MediaStream skin, on my laptop which is less powerful than my HTPC, and I have to say, WOW. It's friggen fast. Too bad no TV support though or else I'd really start considering it...

We are aware of the GUI limitations of MP, that's one of the reasons for MP2
If XBMC gets TV support, I bet you'll still be using "a Team MediaPortal product" either way

That's why I said 'consider'. In the end we all know which is the better of the two. With that said, I think I'll attempt to convert the mediastream skin to MP, worth a shot as that has to be one of the best skins I've ever seen..

I agree spaztic.
I've got Aeon Wide right now but this skin really appeals to me.
It's really smooth, and peacefuly in some kind of sense.

I'd really appreciate it if any of you guys will pick up this work!

I don't think its that difficult to make the mediastream skin. You can pick a skin like Xface and make a bunch of adjustments.
However, you need the proper textures to make the skin. To make this easy you need to find a way to extract the textures.xpr file (fonts, background and other pictures) from mediasteam, otherwise you have to photoshop them yourself.

Once you have these files it shouldn't be a big problem (not mentioning the copyright/stealing of the source).

You were one of the main ones behind Aeon, so I have no doubt you could polish this up into something very nice and let the community finish it off - like Aeon. Regardless, that's a great looking skin.
