Issue after resume from standby

Hi,

after resume from standby, nothing is displayed on my iMON VFD. Directly after a fresh system restart, the VFD works. MP works fine. See attached log, which is taken after resume, and then MP is manually closed. Seems to be ok until the very end when MP is closed.

Note that when I start MP configuration after closing MP, I get the "MP is still running, do you want to close ...." dialog. Also, the system doesn't shut down properly, I have to do a hard reset.

I played around with the setting in the advanced tab (restart driver, reload driver, etc...) but this doesn't help.

Worth noting that I haven't installed any iMON software, just the driver.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks,
Jayrock

Hello,
it worked fine with extDisplay not with CyberDisplay. Btw. on other Platforms the MCE Driver also worked well.
The Scaleo E had also a DM-140GINK derivate.

Solved it, just reset the SG_VFD device with MPstandbyHandler on resume.

I can't get minidisplay to work. I've played with all the advanced config settings I could think of but nothing seems to work. My system details are attached - Vista, Antec Fusion Black with an OEM LCD(?) display using iMon V7.40.0806 and firmware 0xa1.

With all the playing around I tried, my Harmony remote works fine - it’s just the display that isn't. When using iMon Frontview, I have the date/time scrolling by default, and IR commands are displayed (up arrow, left, right, etc). The best I’ve achieved with Minidisplay is ‘home’ displayed in all screens, and IR commands displaying when activated Once I reboot, the display just shows a blank screen (no IR commands even). Setting iMon back to 'automatic' gets it working again. Oh, I had played with ExternalDisplay, but before these tests I deleted the DLL from the plugins directory.

Logs are attached (sorry if these are overkill!). I started up MP, watched 2 minutes of TV, and closed down. This was with a blank LCD throughout.

I guess when working properly, the MiniDisplay will show all sorts of fancy messages, but all I really want to have on the LCD is a clock as the default setting. Frontview displays a scrolling time and date which is annoying. Is there a way to fix this?

You had MiniDisplayLibrary.dll under process directory. Please, as the error states, put it in MP base folder.

Simone

The DLL is only present in c:\program files\team mediaportal\mediaportal, is that not the base folder?

Yup, this is the correct path. Sure you don't have any other file like:

ExternalDisplayPlugin.dll
CybrMageDisplay.dll
MiniDisplayPlugin.dll

if so, please delete all of them and retry.

Simone

I am getting the same problem as Spoonyluv, and I also dont have the files other than the one I am supposed to and in the path as mentioned above.

I am running Vista SP1 Home Premium 32 bit, MP RC4, with iMon 7.4.

Please help! :D

Mini Display with OrigenAE S16T touch screen

Hello,

I'm trying to configure the mini display to work with the touchscreen of my OrigenAE case, but I can't get it to work. Does anybody have any idea which driver I have to use?

With the cybrmage plugin it worked but I had problems with a very high CPU load.

Can anybody please give me a hint?

Thanks,

Bart

Slurm has been kind enough to update the TouchScreenPlugin. See here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...d-display-plugin-32380/index4.html#post331740
