Can iMON LCD be totally turned off (i.e. no backlight)
Hello.
I have a quick question for iMON LCD owners running RC4: in the configuration options of MiniDisplay there is a setting that turns off the external display when a DVD/video is playing. I use it with my current iMON VFD and love it.
Now, I'm planning to build a brand new system and would like to opt for a case with an integrated iMON LCD (like the Silverstone GD01 for example, but not necessary that one, although it seems there are not many alternatives, Antec Fusion Max maybe?), mainly for bigger fonts and international charcters support, but I am wondering: does this option really turns off the display in case of the LCD, or only disables all icons and doesn't display anything? By that I mean, is the backlight still on or is the whole LCD totally turned off, like when you put a computer LCD monitor in power save mode?

I am using an iMon LCD (Driver 7.40) with the Minidisplay plugin (1.0 RC4). Unfortunately I have the same problem other people are experiencing. When resuming from standby my LCD goes blank.
I read this whole thread and the only solution (for now?) seems to be the MPstandbyHandler referred to here.
Unfortunately I am running Vista64, so MPstandbyHandler doesn't recognize my Hardware

Is there any other fix? Maybe in the final version due for X-mas?

EDIT: I added all the 4 missing drivers: DM140GINK, ScaleoEV, FicSpectra, MediaPad.

The plugin worked well since the RC4 build but in the MP 1.0 final version something goes wrong. I set all options like I did n RC4
Use SG_VFD.dll enabled and Resart imon software when MP closes.
In MP 1.0 this config. does also work, but it breaks the shutdown command of my imon pad (red button) - in RC4 I could easily shutdown the system by using the red button - now nothing occurs. I tried all options but without success. I looked in the error.log and in two other logs, but I couldn't find any differences to previous RC4 logs (I uses extensive log.).
Is there a shortcut, etc. which can be used to shutdown the computer through MediaPortal??

Hi Maat,
I'm using MP 1.0.0.0 Final + fixed Configuration.exe from Chemelli and got nearly same effect here. I configured restarting MP after Resuming.
Everything looks fine after resuming (LCD shows Mediaportal - Startmenu), but if I use any button on ImonPAD it goes blank!
After restarting MP my Display works fine again. Logs attached...
