Hi,
problem reporting here again...
My setup: Antec Fusion Black Remote (iMon LCD OEM), MCE Remote.
Minidisplay controls my LCD without (major) problems. But If I activate Minidisplay it sets "frontview" in Soundgraph manager to "never" automatically. This disables the IR Receiver of the display (MCE Remote does not work any more, strangely iMon Pad works still but I hate it). If MP is closed I can reconstruct the problem: Frotview set to never, MCE does not work (like up-down in notepad file), set to "always" or "automatic": it works.
Can it be set somehow that Minidisplay does not change the "frontview" settings of Soundgraph?
Thanx!
PS: CybrDisplay behaves the same, iMon Version does not play any role (6.2-7.4 etc)
I have the same problem, but only occasionally, and in my case it is MCE that still partly works (only direction buttons, nothing else), but not iMON PAD. I have under Advanced Tab of MiniDisplay plugin in MP Configuration set that MiniDisplay should ensure Frontview is enabled before MP starts, that it should be restarted after MP loads and that after MP is closed, the Frontview should be enabled again. This should help resolve the problem, but again, in my case this does not always work.
It almost never works when I let MP auto-start with Windows and a radio-station be automatically tuned in. A start-up delay for MP (e.g. 15 seconds) does not solve this problem.
Because of these continous problems since april 2008 already (I have tried almost all possible options: various versions of CybrDisplay, MiniDisplay, MP, iMon Manager, etc. etc.), I now decided to use a Logitech Harmony 555 remote (set as a MCE remote) instead of my iMon PAD. But I am afraid that I will continue to have these problems even with this remote, if I let the remote work with the iMON IR-receiver, which integrated in my Chieftec case.
Should I simply buy a USB MCE IR-receiver for my Logitech Harmony and get rid of my everlasting problems?
And: does anyone with an integrated OEM iMON VFD also have problems that their mouse cursor occasionally jumps and Windows becomes inactive (as if someone is continuously pressing ALT-button)? How to solve this?
