Hello,

i Have a Problem with my Display.
I use an LUI USB Display. The Driver comes with LCD Hype. The Display is an GraphicDisplay with 320x240
I Test the Display with LCD Hype, and everything works fine.

If I configure the MiniDisplay Plug In i can´t see anything!

Please help me what I have to do for using the Display. Is there everything or to configure out of the mini Display Plugin or out of Media Portal?

Must I have to run LCD Hype?

"Time to live" info on display

Hello,
I am using minidisplay.dll in the SVN 21222 version with Scaleo E display.
Everything is working okay but I have the concerning question of the possibility of changing of the time of showing names of files and directories. Now this works in this way, that after a few seconds "exploration" directories and files without running files, the display is going to "idle mode" showing (for example time + "MediaPortal").
Whether it is possible to change the time after which the "idle mode" appears?

As I said.. installing the version you posted didnt help -> the option is not there. I have no idea why it doesnt show the option with the OEM HArdware built into ANTEC cases.

So the only hope is that someday, someon will modify the mini display plugin, so it also works with those cases.

The only other solution is to throw away this case :-(

Actually I tried ALL versions from the Soundgraph HP including the version 7.40, but the option is definately not there.. so maybe the option doesn't work with the ANTEC case, but with other cases.

Well I'll try your version, maybe the ANTEC Version somehow misses this feature, but I guess the option depends on the actual hardware .. and with the unit built into ANTEC cases, it's not there unfortunately..

I even tried installing all the old versions - but the option was never there.

Hi,i don't have yout type of hardware so this is just my guess...did u selected the right type of driver with the right connection type in the MiniDisplay configuration pannel?See attached screenshoot!!

this plugin works fine for me (using the LIS driver)
however I wanted to customize it a bit and have had problems doing so.
for example at idle it says "media portal" on the top line and then the Time below it.
so i go into the editor and i changed the 1st line to be a property and i put in #temp and #condition
restart
only the 2nd line (time) displays
so i try again with just the #condition and it works.
so i try again with just the #temp and it doesnt work
to i try again with #date - so the date would be on the top line and the time would be on the 2nd
when i do this, neither the top or the bottom line display.

it appears only certain property items display.. any idea why?

yes, I use this driver, and select USB as connection-type.

Is there a way that mini display plugin can run minimized? When i switch to Arcsoft to watch Blu-Ray movies, then i see the display plugin.
I have a Scale E mediacenter. Thank you

From the logs it seems that the display driver is working,maybe your "contrast" setting for the display is not correct,and maybe the display is working but you can't see anything because of that.Set contrast to 25 and brightness 200 and give it a try.

I've got the Antec cd which came with my case - the version is 6.2 and the keyboard/mouse option is present. It's zipped and currently uploading to rapidshare, I'll provide the link as soon as it's completed.

By way of a trade, does anyone know how you get the list of data values available to Mini Display ?

e.g. I'm looking to configure the basic home page to display the section I'm on (i.e. it should say 'Watch Your TV' rather than 'Basic Home')

There must be a dictionary or something which shows all the available data values, parses, etc ?

Use Blue3Wide and u will see it's already working,just in case,u are using StreamedMP skin right now?
