I (and many others) have the problem that with current Imon soft (imon Manager) + hardware (RM200 Remote), the option
"force keyboard" mode doesnt work. Unfortunately this option is crucial for operation of the mediaportal, otherwise on every
restart (even from standby mode) one has to manually enable keyboard mode, whis is a royal pain in the a... and the waf of
this is very low.

So maybe some kind soul can fix this option to work again with the current hardware of imon.

Seems not fixable, as the bug is in the exposed call from iMON original dll.

I ( and some others ) are going to dig more in depth with IRSS code to fix iMON support there.

this plugin works fine for me (using the LIS driver)
however I wanted to customize it a bit and have had problems doing so.
for example at idle it says "media portal" on the top line and then the Time below it.
so i go into the editor and i changed the 1st line to be a property and i put in #temp and #condition
restart
only the 2nd line (time) displays
so i try again with just the #condition and it works.
so i try again with just the #temp and it doesnt work
to i try again with #date - so the date would be on the top line and the time would be on the 2nd
when i do this, neither the top or the bottom line display.

it appears only certain property items display.. any idea why?

I'm using the latest version of imon Manager with my Imon Ultrabay and the option to select keyboard/mouse mode is there.Let me know if you need it and i will upload this version somewhere.

I use the latest version and i can confirm that it works. However i dont think that you can download the latest version from soundgraph, you have to enable upgrades in the Imon manager to get it.

Beside I'm pretty sure that I used this Version from the ANTEC website but this option is missing.

The issue is when MediaPortal closed ,in standby or hibernated the VFD display still shows the last message displayed by MediaPortal.

That wasn't an issue before when CybrDisplayPlugin_03_13_2008 was used along with MP 0.2.3.

The display used to show the date and time after the MP was closed or the HTPC was put to sleep by MP.

Unfortunately the old plug-in doesnt work with the new installation of MP 1.0.

Apart of the above, the plugin works as expected.

Is there anything I can do to get the previous behaviour back? ...maybe to use an older or newer driver? if so how can I add it and where to get it from.

Actually I tried ALL versions from the Soundgraph HP including the version 7.40, but the option is definately not there.. so maybe the option doesn't work with the ANTEC case, but with other cases.

Well I'll try your version, maybe the ANTEC Version somehow misses this feature, but I guess the option depends on the actual hardware .. and with the unit built into ANTEC cases, it's not there unfortunately..

I even tried installing all the old versions - but the option was never there.

The problem seam to be the new ITRans server when run as service. Running it not as service, solves the issue!
