They are included in the matrix orbital installer

So we should reference to those instead of looking into current MP folder, and all will work out of the box, right ?

they are newer versions of the ones that were included with minidisplay.

I don't think those were included at anytime. Am I wrong ?

You're right, I think only fastbitmap was included with the mediaportal installation.

Would be cool if you could reference to those instead of the mediaportal folder.

Can you also reference the log4net to use the matrix orbital installation folder, as this will then be independent of version upgrades Mediaportal/tvserver team wants to do.

Standard path for the matrix orbital driver is : "%programfiles%\Matrix Orbital DriverCore" If this is of any use to you ?

    Thanks,

    Joris.

What I do not understand is why some of you (and I am pretty sure that's because of this you have some problems) are still installing cybrdisplay over the existing minidisplay (wich is cybrdisplay, but already integrated to mediaportal) ???

Because cybrdisplay works and minidisplay doesn't?

NO way, it's the same code !

So please tell me what's wrong after you configure all options the ame with MiniDisplay.

    Simone

the minidisplay driver doesn't initilize the hardware properly, if I run cybrdisplay once I can use minidisplay until the next coldstart

In the next days, I'll attach a new minidisplay to this thread so you can test it.

Can you please post a log from Cybrdisplay and one from Minidisplay both with extensive logging enabled ?

    JorisFRST,

I looked at the code and we only reference "fastbitmap.dll" and "log4net.dll". Can you please test using onyl those 2 and avoid copying the other dlls ?

    Simone

    EDIT:

Forgot to say that looking at those using depends.exe doesn't show a dependency to the others 2 dll either.

    Chemelli:

I tried to substitute both versions of log4net.dll

When I use 1.2.9.0, I am getting "Failed to locate assembly 'log4net, version 1.2.10.0...." error message
When I use 1.2.10.0, I am getting "Failed to locate assembly 'log4net, version 1.2.9.0...."

Would it be possible to register and use both log4net.dll files from different locations at same time?

Hi, glkdriver is not used apparently, but libgx2 is used, it's asked for when you try the "test display" in configuration.
