It would be great if we could hit a button and go straight from MP in fullscreen mode to minimised in the tray(next to the time) without having to go to windowed mode first....

no it wouldn't, many users use MP on a dedicated HTPC and this function will take up unnecessary room in the userface and in the memory.

    i dont understand this ...
now when i want to minimise to tray i must go from fullscreen to windowed mode and then press minimise. so this function is already implemented but something like a combo is needed - who connect this two actions in one after a one key pressed. Is a big problem?

    An easy solution would be:
If you mark the checkbox "Minimize to tray on GUI exit" in Configuration you get the expected behaviour when you "quit" MP in fullscreen mode.
I'm not sure if this is what you want if you will have the possibility to really quit MP when hitting the close button but an alternative.

I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)

I was just tinkering with a few settings in the MediaPortal configuration and am happy to have found the cause of the problem. Disabling the option "Single seat setup: force RTSP usage" under "TV/Radio", "Advanced Options" resolved the issue. After I disabled this option, I was able to delete the recordings the first time...

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

It is present, but not with that name. It is called Scheduler, viz: Interesting. I had never noticed that when the "command" is "ACTION", the "cmdproperty" is the actual window id, but it makes sense that it is. Try this for yourself. First backup your working profile for the remote, then in the "Mapping" panel make a change to...

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1
