There we go thanks ZEEE I had the file name wrong on one of the srt files that I was testing.

I just wanted to ask, do you know how I can use my MCE remote to turn on a program? This is what I'm doing I took off my keyboard and mouse on my HTPC and I use the computer in my room to control the HTPC via VNC. VNC starts automaticly when windows loads but then when I go to my PC I can't log in I have to turn off VNC and turn it back on. So I was wondering if there is any way I can just turn it on (not in MP) but in windows via my remote. I disabled the autoload of VNC at startup.

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)
