How can I get the video (or TV etc.) I watch louder? It is not possible to increase the volume (e.g. by pressing the +-button), the end is reached as shown on screen.
I assume you are using MediaPortal 1.2.3?! and Windows 7?
This should be fixed in MP 1.3.0 Alpha but you can test the patch on MP 1.2.3 too -> https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/attachments/mp_1-2-3-rar.103030/ Download this .rar file and replace the .dll/.exe files with the ones in the .rar. (Backup your existing files before overwriting)
Thanks!
As I see now, it doesn' t seem to increase the volume that much, I would need much more loudness (with Aimp, foobar etc. there is much more loudness I have). Might there be another way?
Sound icon in system tray, right click, select playback devices, now go into its properties, there you will find a tab marked enhancements, now select "loudness" and close
I have two loudspeaker symbols in the system tray. Do you mean to change the loudness generally or only the one of MP. The loudness generally on Win 7 is okay and the balance of all sounds here, also, I just want to increase loudness for MP only, so like I can do it for Aimp, foobar, VLC only.
Those players can go over 100% volume output making system louder, unfortunately MP alone cannot achieve this, using the above setting just gives an overall equal sound, especially if like me have lots of 5.1 surround outputting to TV via hdmi as stereo.
Of course you ment "fortunartely" since who really would want to have > 100% volume? It will cause distorted audio as clipping is introduced on the highest peaks. Amps have volume knobs for a reason
Sorry, I didn't get email notifications on these latest replies. I just came here to report I solved the problem after adjusting power settings for "Intel Graphics". I set it to Maximum Performance. I tried many other things so it could be a combination of them, but this was the last thing I did and I haven't had the problem return...

Interesting. I had never noticed that when the "command" is "ACTION", the "cmdproperty" is the actual window id, but it makes sense that it is.
Try this for yourself. First backup your working profile for the remote, then in the "Mapping" panel make a change to...
