Hi guys

Since updating to MP 1.3 I have had a few instances of the popup "MP has stopped working"

It has happened on both of my computers and this is the latest log grab.

Any ideas?

    Hello :)

According to the Windows application event log, the latest crash appears to be caused by the MP-TVSeries plugin:

    Hi mm

Attached are the logs from my other computer, do they show the same error?

    Sorry, not at this stage.
Both errors seem a bit obscure.

For the first: I've never used MP-TVSeries, let alone looked at its code. Therefore I haven't got much hope of figuring it out. You'll have to wait for help from somebody else for this one.

For the second: the cause isn't exactly clear. More information would be helpful. For example:
    • What were you doing when the crash occurred?
    • Is the crash reproducible? (If yes, please provide instructions.)

I made a post in another thread where I was getting (and still get from time to time) MP 1.13 stops responding. I am not using the TV series plug-in. I seems to happen when I am navigating the guide and is random and not reproducible on demand..

We've been dealing with that issue across multiple threads. Please refer to the link Sebastiii gave you in your thread for a [likely] fix:

Note: I'm not making any claims that the above patch will help Glen, as his problem(s) look different, at least to me.

    Hi mm

Well I'm no expert but I don't think TV series is to blame for my latest crash.

I was watching a David Gray concert DVD I had ripped to my HDD which I have had no trouble playing in the past.

When I pressed stop the screen froze the sound stuttered continuously and the mp stopped working popup appeared!

If anyone ever experiences the above, I found a fix. Removing and reinstalling MP-TVSeries fixed it. It must have gotten corrupted during the reinstall of MP. I also had to do the same with TRAKT which had some issues too that were not apparent at the time. All is well once again.

It's working after some hours search: the Auto3D plugin which I haven't used for years was corrupting the start of the TV live stream from server to MP. If anyone has a similar problem - disable all old plugins and then enable one after another :-)

You need to check the wiki for TVMosaic, you have recordings as source available once TVM is installed. And of course images and music are part of the NET6 version as for NET4. If you have issues with it further infos would be good.
