You need to make sure you have a skin that supports MP-TVSeries and that you add the appropriate xml files to the skin directory.

How can i know what skins supports My-TV series? And where i put the xml? but in My-TV series i dont' have any skin directory.
Sorry, i'm a new at mediaportal.

Most skins do support it. For example if you install monocrome when you are extracting the files they go into the medaiportal\skin folder. Then you put the tv-series.xml into the skin subdirectory. If you are using monocrome it would be \mediaportal\skins\monocrome

Many other skins have tv-series support built right in. I like the new StreamedMP skin. You just use an installer and select the views you want. Its really easy, try it out. They also have a guide on how to setup the tv-series plugin to work best with the skin.

When i open mediaportal and click in My TV series plugin appears the message:

"Wrong Skin File"

What can i do to solve this?

thats why i said that tvseries should come with blue3 and blue3wide skins. hopefully they will add them in next release.

meanwhile, you can find in other post the skin files for these two skins.

Wrong focus

I have a problen that started after I upgraded to the SVN(from 2.0)
When I try to play an episode, the focus goes back to the skin and
the video output is hidden. Audio is present so I know that the file is playing.

Running MP 1.0RC4 with latest SVN
I use the skinfile that comes with black&white1080 and use fanart(random fanart and show in main screen option = off)

Tested more then one filetype avi/mkv

There also seams to be a problem with banner, after a restart "Rome" banner had been changed to another banner from my list of series.

and for last... It happend twice that the program lost contact with db after a restart of mp. I had been playing around with fanart and exited mp to upload a fanart to tvdb. after restart, tv series said no items. Exited MP and checked if path to tvseries files was broken, but it was ok. Restarted MP, no change, still no item. Restarted computer and then everything was back.... Strange!!! Maybe db engin does not close correctly on exit.. hangs in memory?



For a great plugin
Even to think about going back to the old way of playing tvseries though my movies.... well,, not thinkable.

For some reason mine wont show anymore. I will try the latest SVN tomorrow.

Mine have NEVER shown up before; posted several threads, I guess the developers are too busy. Do a search on the forum for "justchill'.

I also can't see episode thumbs for one series (Desperate Housewives, German). I can see the thumbnail pictures in the Details of the configuration tool, but not in my skin (mediastream by pilehave).

My other series show up fine.

Have one pc running an 2.03216 version and there everything works
series-banner, Season cover, episode thumbs AND fanart
I'm running it on 1.0RC3 with some SVN and it's mostly stable.

I have not run into any issues with episode thumbs with the past few versions. I am currently runing RC4 with 3260 TVSeries and it is working wonderfully. I would make sure that you have download episode thumbs selected in the config.
