good timing i got 3260 earlier today and came back just now after my regexp wasn't working (worked on movies first then moved to tv-series)

still bugging me... needs to try '&' if there is an 'and' and there are no results!

also, in vista, the log doesn't scroll all the way down, so when adding a series with no matches, it's hard to determine what show it's actually trying (maybe add show title it tried to the "Unable to find matching series" window? (maximizing the window allows you to see)

I got a "Mediaportal doesn't react anymore" warning from Windows Vista as soon as I open the TV Series Section in Mediaportal.

I'm still on RC3. Could this be the problem for the newest SVN?

I don't want to update. I'm really happy with RC3.
If I switch back to TV Series 2.0 stable everything is fine again!

on another note:


how hard to add a feature for characters to ignore when looking up info on thetvdb.com?

i.e. dharma and greg returns nothing - have to move and -> &
i.e. csi ny makes me interact - even though it's just a : that's different

i'd like to be able to ignore :,')( etc and be able to try & in place of "and" if no results

I might add something to remove characters from search if no results are returned, but this is better handled from the online server instead.

yeah, searching w/ their API sucks balls. but at least you could handle the results they DO give back better by ignoring the non-important characters (i.e. ' , : ! - )&( etc.)
