MP TVSeries not seeing all my shows (1 Viewer)

This is weird, I noticed not all my shows show up in MP. I went and ran the importer manually and sure enough it doesnt see several shows like Harrys Law. Very odd. Any pointers or ideas as to why this is?

Tehnically that show is called "Harry's Law".

But a manual search at TheTVdB for "Harrys Law" results in: http://www.thetvdb.com/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=Harrys+Law

So it should work, but since you did not provide any debug logs covering the problem, or a full parth+filename example of what is failing, it is hard to tell why it does not work for you.

The only Harry's Law reference I see is to an XML file at:

C:\Users\Public\Public Recorded TV2\Harry's Law (2011)\series.xml

Do you got any actual media in there? And is any of that media perhaps locked by the application putting the files in there? If a file is locked MP-TVSeries won't be able to import it, because Windows will not let it.

I have several files actually, they are not locked, I can rename them for example. Also, there are multiple shows not being imported. Its as though MP TVSeries is ignoring them for some reason. Is there any way to tell MP TVSeries to not hide and see everything?

What are those files named like and what is their extension?

They are mostly .wtv files, and are named for example Harrys Law - S01E01 - Description.wtv


It is really weird MP TVSeries is ignoring about 6 or so shows, the whole series for each!

did you add the .wtv extension into mediaportal configuration, video, video extensions.. its not there by default, and tvseries only scans for those files/extensions in that list i believe..
