    @Gcarr Your episode 1x25 of Life with Elizabeth is available on the API now. If you don't see it after import, try deleting the API Cache folder from configuration and run import again. (I only automatically update series which are continuing and have local files, at least until the API Zip download is resolved).

    I thought that plugin(s) configuration I mantained was innovative with language specific and so on... (was 10 or 15 years ago) but your plugin config is impressive !

    @framug, as suspected the API does not return the Episode Name unless it's translated. This must be a recent change. I could potentially pull down the en.xml for a series and fill in the blanks.

    But for the immediate future, simply update thetvdb.com with the translations ;)

    Well, I don't have time to update thetvdb.com.
    If some users want to do it, they will.
    At least, we think the same for translation.
    I think better is to leave as it is, "episode NN" instead of blank, may be a "french" (also same for users in other countries) user will update it ?

    I see code that does exactly that:
    Code:
    case cEpisodeName:
      DBValue title = base[cEpisodeName];
        if (string.IsNullOrEmpty(title) && DBOption.GetOptions(DBOption.cAutoGenerateEpisodeTitles))
          title = string.Format("{0} {1}", Translation.Episode, base[cEpisodeIndex]);
        return title;

    Check your MediaPortal language is 'French' (GUI->Language Settings->Display Language) and that the TVSeries translation file has a translation for 'Episode' in:
    Code:
    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\language\MP-TVSeries\fr.xml

    When I inspect the xml it does not:
    Code:
    <string name="Episode" Original="Episode">Episode</string>
    Log in · Transifex

    NB: this translation is only used in the main GUI and not Configuration UI.

    @itfearme That worked, thanks!

    BTW... I had just figured out why I could not see that episode last night. There was a setting "show all episodes in local database when in GUI" that apparently was not set. Once set, I could see the episode. It was listed as "Episode 25" but at least I could see it was there.

    Well, I think config is OK on my side :

    zz1.png

    Also, even if my language TV-S is not in the "standard" folder, it should work :

    zz2.png

    And the content is like you described :

    Even if I think plugin is correctly configured :

    But maybe am I wrong ?
    In this case, please, explain me what is missing ?
