I will say, you can watch Hoichoi web series. I learned about the Hoichoi web series list very recently. Then I watched it and the stories are just awesome.

Lot of shows are still downloading with episode information on Aired being "Jan 1st 0001", personally I'd rather see the date-of-import being used as it will at least be somewhat closer to the real-date for shows airing "live". Logic being that this date-overrule is only used if you already have the previous episode in database with an air-date in the past and then simply add the amount of weeks matching Now(); range (some shows do take a break for a week/hiatus). Shows that air on a Tuesday will not switch to another day as they tend to be firmly scheduled months in advance, so that would be fine for me, in the unlikely event that API fails.

I was tired of not receiving updates from thetvdb so I've updated HTPC hardware, installed modern OS and downloaded lastest Mp+mptvseries so I've tried to fix online sync problem in my old local mptvseries build. Looking back, http was not the issue at all. I've applied two little fixes.
First:

When saving the XML files I decided to make a change to support both, but if it reverts to old format it will work too e.g.

Helper.SaveXmlCache(filename, x[key].FirstChild.NextSibling ?? x[key].FirstChild )

Second is change from Format.Zip to Format.Xml for updates.
Looks ok for me for now

The 'fall-back' to English, does that only apply to series info, or also for Episodes? It seems to work for series, but not for Episodes.

I see in the log that the plugin did not find fanart for the current season, but found fanart for the series, and there are 4 pictures of them.
