but problem was that it originally imported as "Mighty Ships" and had to manually select "Titans (2018)" on a reimport, which is weird when folder + filenames were named according to TheTVdB naming scheme: "Titans 2018\Titans 2018 - Season 2\Titans 2018 - S02E01 - Trigon.mkv" maybe the 2018 threw it off as it wasn't enclosed in parenthesis.

This is not the only series with weird auto-matching, I'm going to need to debug this to see if there is something I can do. I noticed the same on some of my series including Titan's like you ( Elementary, Titans, Arrow ).

Anyway, it's on my TODO list to look at

Tom and Jerry return season number as 1,2,3 instead 1950…as before, not a big problem, but it is ... on the site the old numbering also disappeared ...

In the next build I added some useful links to IMDb.com, trakt.tv and theTVDb.com for selected series, season and episodes. Very handy when you need to verify correctness of API vs Website or just make it easier to populate online database.

No rush though, and only prioritize it when you can. Breathing in fresh air among all those bushfires must be a challenge by itself.

Presuming you still make the same initial query like: https://www.thetvdb.com/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=Titan+2018

Then "Mighty Ship" is indeed returned by TheTVdB API, and since your drop-down box shows it first, perhaps you are ordering on either alphabetical order, or series-ID in which both cases "Mighty Skip" would be listed before "Titans"... but perhaps you can take into account the order the API call XML response returns it, because if memory serves me that order contains extra logic to put the most "sensible" match at the top.

Anyway food for thought if you find time, family, work, holidays, safety, and rest are more important

Well, I don't know where we are, with all this dll's
As said before, plugin works better than before but, I have problem with episode name (at least when not english language), I have episodeNN instead of episode title.





And now, I'm unmasked, @ltfearme will see that we watch same series...

@framug , I would guess that the language.xml in the API cache folder does not return episode names if not translated. Ideally the API could give a fallback to English.

Well, what and where exact xml do you really want ? (No problem for me to give you all you want).
I thought that main settings was in the TVS database...
Also, I enabled trakt plugin today, to see, if there was restriction with that episode name (faster than looking in the code but, it seems NO then, I will disable it in the future, I would prefer keep a bit "private life" but, it's my choice...).
I think same as you for failback to english (then, it will work as before).
Therefore, for user POV, it's a bit "inapprehensible" :
What the hell ? I have episode name not translated but the "resume of episode" is in the native language ? Really weird...

In your screenshot you will see a link 'API Cache Folder', click on that and you will see the language.xml.

This will be the raw data from thetvdb.com and can be used to verify what you see in the plugin whether its a API or plugin issue.

4.3.3.3 won't match "The Umbrella Academy" (which I just added).

When I click search on the import wizard, it comes back in 1 second without finding anything.
I can not seem to find a way to turn on debug logs.
