The Google reviewed the app (1.4.5 Final) and allowed to publish on the native Android TV platform.

Do you see the app in the Play Store on the TV?

Yes it does!! Great!!! It did not ask to update, it just said it was installed already. So I reinstalled the new one.
I had side loaded the App before and it was working good, played TV and Videos using fHD-quality Android profile based on ffmpeg 1920*1080 5Mb/s.
With the new app it won't play using the profile listed above, but with HD live stream it plays but picture quality is bad I will keep trying.

I added a new StreamingProfiles.xml to the 1st post. It will deinterlace when only needs. Please try it.

thank you, but still won't play correctly on the Sony bravo Android TV (XBR-65X850D) 65" TV
HD-quality Android profile based on ffmpeg 1280x720 3Mb/s with deinterlace says unable to play.
As before will only play on HD-quality HTTP Live Streaming profile with poor quality.
Is there something I'm missing?

That profile seems too low to me. Try to change the quality to 3072 or 4096. It seems the deinterlacing is disabled too. If you have interlaced content try to remove the =-1 after the deinterlace.

Hey there,

just installed MPExtended and the App.
I can load the EPG, but when i press play i see "Buffering" and then "wiedergabe nicht möglich".

Any Ideas?
Port 4322 is open..
