When I then uncheck the respective box in mptvscheduler setup the app will crash when trying to open epg.
And that's on both of my devices.

But I've still got the epg problem on my S6. Report's already been sent.

I got this:
Time 16:06, Version 20160830 134, Galaxy S6 (zeroflte. Message: crashing epg

When happens this? Do you just enter the EPG screen and it is crashed or do you do anything else?

I just enter the epg and then the loading circle is visible but only partial, like fragments.
Then the screen seems to close for the blink of an eye (you can see it getting smaller but then it is normal again)
and the settings icon flickers in that moment. This would happen a couple of times before the app eventually crashes.
There are no other apps open, all have been killed before.

Yes.
But from the description it would also fit to the report from yesterday.
It's always the same, regardless of which version.

And your second device can open EPG without any issue?

Yes. With the exact same setting.

Another thing about the epg and I don't know if that's a bug or supposed to be:
In my tv server setup I've only got the all channel group.

Works. Shows all channels in my case (with no other groups created) and does not crash.

I added a new option to enable/disable debug mode. Debug mode can help to handle connection issues.

I found another little thing:
In epg the times are displayed in different formats.
Looks like this: 5:35pm - 19:35
Should either be 5:35pm - 7:35pm or 17:35 - 19:35
