MSI error on upgrade (1 Viewer)

Looks like you have a previous install that is corrupt (v2.1.4). Try download that package (https://code.google.com/p/streamedmp/downloads/detail?name=StreamedMP-2.1.4.3385.exe&can=2&q=) and then uninstall it (repair if needed).

Maybe the server is/was too busy when you tried to authenticate.
I occasionally run into that too, also with the opensubtitles api I regularly get 429's... there isn't much that can be done about it, except making sure the software isn't hammering the service and having patience...

I always have DVB subtitles enabled in "MP Config", but I actually switch on subtitles only for those films that have deafening sound effects and music, combined with inaudible dialogue. I have never noticed the problem that you have described, but I also use the EVR renderer, and not the Madvr renderer. So...
