By the way: for external subtitles you don't need the crappy MPlayer (don't look at its source, you'll vomit) - no offense to the author of this plugin.
You can just add DirectVobSub AutoVersion to your DirectShow filter list.
This plugin won't work with MPC HC, because MPlayer and MPC HC are two completly different products. This plugin is designed to work with MPlayer.
As already mentioned earlier I still have some tasks to do for TVE3. I will try to fix the issues asap and than release a new version. But AFAIK is this plugin working with MP 1.0RC1. You should only select the SVN version during the installation.
I have been out of the loop for a while, so I was delighted to see this integration of mplayer. I've installed it and it appears to be working well. I always seemed to get much clearer crisper video with mplayer than I ever could with MP internal player but the kludgy controls of mplayer stopped me using it as an external player, now I can use it as a pseudo internal!! Thanks very much!
Hi Misterd,
I have MP 2.3.0 + MyMplayer and Mplayer commadn line version
under windows mplayer plays the mkv files (720p) without problems, but in MP I only get a black screen with some flash of the OSD, and then I'm redirecte to the MP home
Hi,
I have no clue about the cause of this issue. You could only try use the internal osd of mplayer if not already done.
If this doesn't work, I have no more ideas.
At first,
this plugin is great and saved me plenty of time not to convert the vdr files for my children to something else.
But i have 2 problems, the first one is trick modes, the voices speeding up but the video doesn't and after some time the tv screen went blank, independently of the check box in the configuration for blank screen in full screen.
