MY Videos rework for MP 1.3.0 (1 Viewer)

Hi, i also bin test it ,and work very well for me , i was more focus on the meta data retrive and the editor (witch work great) and lass on skin ,as i think the skin need a big rework ... i can say some movies the director name not view in skin (show as not evilble) but the data is in the editor .... but for most part as far as the plugin , work very nice ... i test with only 20 movies .... so need also to test also with biger collection of movies , but must say the plugin for my point of view ,will be my defult plugin for movies ... ( the all artist DB ..is a big thing for me..) + if deda will add the option for new add movie to work with LatestMediaHandle plugin ... this will be just perfect plugin ....

now I'm trying,
I do not use a database, only the nfo file.

I tried the search Database, and it works very well!

Managing my FILES:
ROOT -> GENRE -> MOVIE "FOLDER" ->MOVIE.AVI

Detail movie folder created with Xbne:
MOVIE - GENRE - YEAR.avi
MOVIE - GENRE - YEAR.nfo
MOVIE - GENRE - YEAR.tbn (Poster File)
MOVIE - GENRE - YEAR -fanart.jpg (Fanart)

It's possible to support this system without use DB ?
And have directly Poster and Fanart on the folder
and no enter on folder for play files (with enter button)

I suppose that the best idea would be to use the database for performance issues (because it's only a local database) and to give the possibility to export the whole database entries into suiting nfo files which may be reimported later.

i think your idea is good !

I prefer don't use DB, my system is slow, I tried and slowed my system!
it can be a choice to the user.

Use Database / Nfo or both
When you search with scraper, MP save/use in DataBase and save in the movie folder for backup
When nfo/poster/fanart is present, MP can save directly in Database and use it. or only use nfo file/poster/fanart in the folder

i think is a good solution for support movie database on the world for share with all users Mediaportal and Xbmc

+ Add synopsys language
I think is no simply for coding the software

It is configurable already - but maybe you can be more specific and tell us what kind of options you want to have.

A value where the thumbnail will generate from the video. % of the video length and fix seconds from start.
In example the thumb will generate on the 10% of the video or on the 120 seconds.

Will the import scan run inside the MP or in a background external service?

Added new installer with latest changes on first page.

Concerning nfo it's not so easy but I will try.

Thumbnail generator can not be a part of this patch because it is a global MP method so I can't change it only for my videos and I could really break something messing with it.
