Small question.
Since MEPO 2 apprently is dead, and i have to switch back.
Is there a way to ensure that the NAS will be started (WOL) to use it in MePo?

In the "Videos" section in "MP Config", the "Video Folders" subsection allows you to specify the locations of one or more folders containing video files. Click "Add" to add a location, and a pop-up window appears on which you can enter NAS details (if the location resides on a NAS). There is also the "WOL parameters" button on the "Video Folders" panel.

When I tried to use this with my NAS, I could not get it to work, but I think that that was due to an authorisation problem. Instead I modified my skin's "Home" panel to have "Start NAS" and "Stop NAS" selections in the left side menu. I actually prefer this as I don't always want to access the NAS when using MP.

And just found out that "if" the NAS has turned off, MePo sends the WOL when i again try to access the shares.. Love that feature :)

I would have to know more details, and ultimately, I'll have to test it when I get my new display, but an AI answer I got (I don't trust AI and this may not be correct) was that HDR is encoded with the HEVC codec and I know MePo uses the HEVC codec to play 4K UHD Blue-ray discs. So, there is at least the possibility that it will work...

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

Are different people taking turns watching the same thing on the same HTPC? For me, separating users in MP2 is a drawback, as is the interface. Simply put, this can't be done in MP1, or rather, it can't be done quickly, because everything would have to be rewritten. But if each user logs in with their own Windows account, MP1 can...
