    I think you need to disable all bitstreaming options in audio codec (lav) and recheck.

    If audio works with bitstreaming disabled then the problem is your audio receiver can't decode the audio format

    It seems to me that if this were so, the LAV Audio would be launched but the receiver was silent. In this case, the LAV Audio is not running. Or am I wrong?

    In WMP - on this file - no sound to ... :( LAV there is not used.

    I found advice to change the settings, the default device on the receiver. I do not think it will help, but check it out.

    What are my next steps?
    As we keep saying: try disabling bitstreaming (!!!).

    If the receiver can't handle bit-streamed AC-3 with certain sample rates then either (1) the PC must decode it (ie. just disable bit-streaming) or (2) the PC must re-encode/resample it (eg. maybe try using MPAR???).
