I guess its because when I installed MP1RC1 I selected "with TV" but on my test PC I dont have a TV card. This means I hardly get any options when I go to MP Config>TV>TV Client. It doesnt mention radio at all. When I go to MP Config>Plugins>Radio Plugin and right click and select configuration it crashes.
If I have a TV card will the radio options then appear and allow me to add internet radio stations as before? Is there a way of importing radio stations from 0.2.3?
If you don't have a TVcard, then you don't need the TVServer and neither the TVClient plugin.
You can uninstall it in Windows Control Panel\Software Add/Remove
MediaPortal configuration disables the TV and radio stations in it's configuration when the client plugin is installed.
If you want to use TVServer you can add internet radio stations in TVServer Configuration.
IF you don't want to use tvserver you can config radio in mediaportal config after you uninstalled the client plugin.
I wanted to keep tV server installed but without a TV card at the moment, as I may get one in the near future. When I access TV server config I get hardly any options and cannot find where I enter radio stations (internet streams etc). Is it possible to add internet radio streams with TV server installed but without a TV card?
I installed the new EXE on my MP 1.36 64-bit system (Win 10 laptop), and... it works fine. (y) :)
Thank you for making this change :). I hope that it will be included in the next release.

here is a small update:
it is probably not due to the Windows update. I ran a new transmitter scan and got the same result. MP no longer starts. Then I got the fuse back and everything works again. A simple reinstall of MP does not bring a solution. Maybe I should reinstall MP from scratch. However, I need a lot of time for this...

Thank you for pointing out that my analysis may be less than accurate. :p
Although the change to TV channel 71 may not also have been applied to the independent radio channels (different MUXes), the logs that I prepared for one of the development team does show a difference between channel 704 ("BBC Radio 4") and channel 731...

Are different people taking turns watching the same thing on the same HTPC?
For me, separating users in MP2 is a drawback, as is the interface.
Simply put, this can't be done in MP1, or rather, it can't be done quickly, because everything would have to be rewritten.
But if each user logs in with their own Windows account, MP1 can...
