One Button Random Music? (2 Viewers)

For this to work, you need to untick the following option:

Configuration.exe -> Music -> Playlist Settings Tab -> Load Default Playlist on MediaPortal Startup

What was happening is the following:
1. The "Save Current Playlist as default when leaving Mediaportal" saved your current playlist as default.m3u when exiting MP the last time
2. During Startup OneButtonMusic was creating your playlist and starting playback
3. But after that in the Startup sequence the default.m3u gets loaded and overwrites the just created playlist.

Unticking the oprion "Load default ..." doesn't do that anymore and your AutoStart playlist plays fine

Hi I am having the same problem as SimondusMaximus & kjarrig on pages 32 and 34 re the numeric keys only playing one song then stopping. If I use the "P" key everything works as expected with multiple songs playing but if I use say key "1" to play the same playlist as the "P" key then only one song is played.

I tried the new dll on page 34 but that didn't make any difference.

I have attached 2 log files. The Success.zip is for 2 songs played correctly using the "P" key. The Fail.zip is for one song only played from key "1".

Hoping this can be sorted as I really would like to use the numeric key function. If you need any more info then please let me know.

Just Uploaded Version 2.0.2.

That should fix your problem. I was capturing the numeric button twice by mistake, which caused the Playlist Player to stop playback after first song.

Thanks but I'll have to upgrade to mediaportal 1.2.? before I can try this new version. Hopefully in the New Year.

Nothing stopping me other than time at this stage. I haven't rushed into an upgrade as my 1.1.0 is working ok for my needs and as it is my first Mediaportal experience I have been fiddling with the settings. Now that I am comfortable on how to set it up and the fact that the upgraded one button music will only work with 1.2.?, I will now do the upgrade as all my plugins also have been upgraded to work with 1.2.?

Hello!

I've just installed this plugin, very great idea for ambiant music!

I've got a little problem, somtimes when music is changing, i've got an error that "can't play XXXXXX.mp3" and he play the mext song.
If i try to play "manualy" the song, there is no problems!

Where is the / my mistake?

EDIT: I've just rebuilt the entire DB for the musics and now it seems to work perfectely, maybe there is an error or more in may DB!

Between my tests i've tryied to generate playlist with folder path, and this on works but when i play "play" on main screen, MePo seems to freeze and after 30/45 seconds playlist starts, so my questions:
Is there a way like in DB mode to limit numbers of musics in auto playlist by folders? another way to accelerate playlist generation? (this questions because all my tags are not on top , on the other side my folders are all on TOP with folder.jpg and well named tracks)

Nice plugin. Just found it and am very happy.

Two requests. Would be nice to be able to set the volume the music starts to play. Also, would be great if you could choose to start playing a certain radio station.
