Open movies without going into plugin option (1 Viewer)

Hi and welcome aardel 
Open MediaPortal Configuration, go to the plugin section, right-click on the MovingPictures plugin and select 'Listed in Home'.
Then you should have a Moving Pictures entry in the home menu.

And when you get there Aardel, same with TVSeries (and lots of other plugin - including BBC Weather.
Personally, I have no plugins (but I use limited end user set) in 'plugins', makes for very simple interface and I like simple (so the 'plugins' menu option does not appear on home screen - that's not a fault, it's neat feature).

Ok, thanks much. I will look into the instructions above. For the moment, I turned off the "Automatic channel logo update" in Settings (which somehow I had missed, I think because it wasn't an option previously), and the deleted everything in the Flat-default folder and populated it with my own logos.
