Options for ffmpeg or mencoder to transcode ts to flv? (1 Viewer)

Hi does anybody know the needed parameters to transcode ts files via ffmpeg or mencoder (or another transcoder) to flv?

this are the parameters for ffmpeg and an iphone compatible flv stream.

Thanks for the investigations but ffmpeg seems to crash on ts files with these settings where as divx files are ok

Hi sorry for not testing myself, but my Mediaportal computer is into pieces (upgrading) - but I found this GUI version of FFMPEG, which have some presets, furthermore there is a forum discussing these presets (can be seen on the commandline window).

I found this
"try this

ffmpeg -async 24 -deinterlace -i http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8100 -vcodec libx264 -s vga
-b 2048000 -acodec libfaac -ar 44100 -ab 64000 -y x.flv

notice the async parameter - I did a lot of analogue video capture and
found this worked like a charm "
