Same problem here, also Windows 7. Scrolling down sometimes doesn´t show the image, when you then scroll up again it´s there. But I think that´s really a minor problem. The rest is working as expected.

Has anyone modified the x-face skin to support the new mpinfoservice? I'm wanting to add the beyondtv rss feed http://computername:8129/RssToday.aspx to show current tuner status etc in scrolling marqee on main screen.

Thank you for the offer of help edsche. I'll be happy to test anything you want tested and report back. Are there any files I can provide to assist? I know for some of the plugins I used files from monochrome in x-face to make them work.

I looked through the skinfiles of xface and saw that the skin doesn't support rssticker an weather on basichome, but it supports rss ticker and weather on the normal home. I've changed it so it works with infoservice (only normal home screen). For basichome someone skilled, should help you.

Just copy my attachment to your xface folder.

Thanks..will install it now...what exactly is the difference between "normal" home and "basic" home?

*update* I added the service..see attached screenshot and I'm seeing the beyondtv feed but not anything of the weather...I checked it and have my city and two others already in the "My Weather" section...is there something else I need to configure?

The window on your screenshot is your normal homescreen. No nothing else, i think the location entry in your MediaPortal.xml (Settings file for mediaportal) is missing. Try this: Start MediaPortal -> Go to "My Weather" -> Change the weather location to your second location -> Be sure the weather was sucessfully updated -> Wait till infoservice updates his weather or restart mediaportal.

If that doesn't work, i need your log file: Be sure that the Debug log level is enabled (see screenshot) and start mediaportal for some minutes and attach your log file (C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\log\mediaportal.log) to your post.

Seems it works for any city but my own. I even deleted all the cities..put a different one first and made mine second....don't know if it's because mine is "cached" somewhere. Ahh thank you, i've found the error and the misspelling of forecast The weather service only works on some timezones for now :/ I'll fix this with a new version.
