edsche, while i'm testing 0.81 here is something for you

* when you are in the news window (feed browser/changer), select any feed but the first.. then wait for the automatic update to happen.. you finish in a view where you see titles from selected feed but images and data are all from the first feed.. weird but it should be looked at..

* you always start with the first feed, what about adding possibility to rearrange feeds in the plugin..

*#infoservice.feed.feedtitles, #infoservice.feed.allfeedtitles, not working

* as you already have selected item index property, it would be easy and user friendly to pre-select current feed in the feed selection dialog

Still problem with today.weekday and day2.weekday - same name is shown.

I know it´s far from Xmas - but I have a wish:
I´d like to have 2 different IDs for the textboxscrollup to fill the box completely with text if no picture available.
The other variant would be that the default image is shown when no picture available (like the icon in listview).
And - BIG for your plugin and your efforts!

No i have only 16x16 and the 32x32 i've used. I know they are too small. I'm looking for greater ones too.

hi edsche! i'm linking the new features and appreciate all the hard work you're putting to make this plugin even better!

don't really like this change.. the way i see it, default image should only be filled in the listcontrol.. there are few reasons, first is obviously small default image so when you stretch it it's no good.. also, version prior to 0.85 allowed us (or just me) to overlap the feed image with feed item image so when feed item has no image, feed image would be shown.. now it's not possible anymore..

* today after wake up, i had "Downloading feeds and images".. it could be because of there was no internet connection available instantly or something else, i don't really know.. i propose to you if there is no internet connection or feed update fails you revert back to old properties and wait for next update.. or pool the updates every minute until connection is available..

* check out the rss news plugin included with mp: https://mediaportal.svn.sourceforge...portal/WindowPlugins/GUIRSSFeed/GUIRSSFeed.cs.. it has ability to show the text in feed link when you select the feed item.. it's not the best solution but it does show you more data..

* check rssticker source.. https://mp-plugins.svn.sourceforge..../MP-RSSTicker/MP-RSSTicker/RSSTickerPlugin.cs and the way the weather is handled.. as you're using the same weather source, i propose that you use the weather location from the mediaportal.xml.. check and change (if needed) that location on every update also.. that way if you change the location in the weather plugin, infoservice plugin reflects those changes on next update..

* in plugin initialization (start of mp), initialize ALL properties you use to " ", just one space.. that way ugly strings #xxx won't be shown before the plugin updates the weather and feeds..

* i think all of your weather data (in my case, temperatures, images and day condition) is off by one day (day names are ok): check included images

* finally, i included a new set of icons with bigger default feed images hope you'll like them

SilentExcept is right! Now the weekday names are OK, but the weather data are off by one day.

Perhaps i'm doing something wrong but info services is not showing up in my mediaportal.
Not on the home screen or on the plugin screen.

I copied the infoservicesxml to the skin dir and the dll is in the plugins/windows dir but it's just not showing up in MP.

Please help

what's wrong? is this version not compatible with xfactor 219?

snoekieboe and remb0: Do you have a common.rss.xml for those skins (or similiar entries in your BasicHome.xml)? If so, you have to to adjust the item names to the new ones of the latest version (see first post).
