Hi,

Thank you for the new property "#infoservice.weather.today.img.small.filenamewithoutext". fast work as allways. But it returns "34.pngwithoutext" instead of just "34" when I test it.

Please advise!

Mh works for me as it should. Does it returns this exact string "34.pngwithoutext"?

To enter URLs you could use the inbuilt keyboard feature.

Hi,

For test I have added alable in my skin and added this property and it gives me the exact text of;
34.pngwithoutext

I will make another test and see if it works.

My bad, it was a typo, now all works

Ok now i'm confused i reproduced the error on my pc and fixed it with a shorter property name. Thought mp has some problems with long property names. How do you fixed it?

Edit: now i see where the real problem is. Mediaportal resolves the #infoservice.weather.today.img.small.filename property and then adds the "withoutext" text.

Just upgraded to v0.99 and now it uses the right CNN logo that I have specified. Thanks for the bug fix!

However, now I don't get anything from the CNN feed . Error message in error.log is:

2009-07-03 15:07:20.492400 [ERROR][8]: InfoService: Error downloading RSS feed from URL: http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_topstories.rss
2009-07-03 15:07:20.492400 [ERROR][8]: InfoService: Update of Feed unsuccesfull. Check your internet connection!

Clearly I see content when I view that RSS feed in Firefox on my HTPC.

I switched to MP-RSSTicker for the time being until this issue is fixed. Still using InfoService for weather and the feed image but using MP-RSSTicker for the CNN news feed.

edsche, is there really no change you could please include the source code and VS solution so those that want to can try to write their own patches? After all, MediaPortal is open source Please!

Hey, i tweaked infoservice again a little Now you can change the zoom steps and set a default zoom for each feed, so you don't have to zoom every time you open the feed browser

Does .99.2 work with MP 1.02 on XP?

I'm getting the RSS feed on my basic home, but the 5 day forecast is not displaying. I just updated from .94 and made the image control changes, but not even the min/max nor the weekday labels are showing up. I designed the 'today' label in parenthesis to set it off, and only the parenthesis are displaying.

I also could not get the keyboard channel up/down keys (zoom), nor the scroll left/right keys to do anything in the browser window. The webpage displays along the rightmost edge with only a couple characters width showing. Scrolling up and down is all that works.

I'm using my own 4x3 skin design which was working with .94 just fine.

Mh i have nothing changed in the weather module. Only changed the labels name. Can you post your mediaportal.log?

Scrolling does only work if the webpage has a vertical/horizontal scrollbar. If there is no vertical scrollbar there is nothing to scroll.

I think i change the zooming keys or add zooming buttons on the screen. I had the same problems, but now it works for me.
